Description

This is the forestomach or squamous portion of the stomach from a NZW/LacJ male mouse that was 805 days old. Note the raised mass with numerous projections. These are proliferations of stratified squamous epithelium on thin fibrovascular stalks. This is a papilloma of the forestomach.
